As you may have noticed, I’ve spent the last few weeks giving my website and patterns a new look. I hired a very talented graphic designer and web developer (a super nice husband and wife team!) to give me a more professional look than my own diy logo. I hope you love it as much as I do!
In addition to changing my look, I’ve also set up my own ecommerce store. This is a huge deal for me; no more dealing with the limitations of Etsy or high listing fees! Of course, I will still keep all my patterns available on Etsy for those that prefer to shop there.
As a gift to all of you, I want to offer 40% off your whole cart in my new shop. I rarely have sales, and have never had a sale this big, so don’t miss out! Just use the coupon ANEWLOOK, valid only on my site (not on Etsy or any other 3rd party pattern resellers).
To celebrate the grand opening of my new shop, and my brand new look, I recruited some of my blogger friends to share with you a new look they have created using my patterns. I hope that you will have some time to check them out and support the amazing work that they do!
Today Kelly from Handmade Boy is sharing not 1, but 3 Gracious Threads patterns in a fantastic boy outfit. Can you guess which ones?
And Stacey – From A Box: When a blog design gets a new look, that’s called a Refashion in the sewing world. To celebrate the Gracious Threads New Look, I refashioned a school spirit shirt into a twirly tunic using the Petra Pattern for my daughter. It’s a custom-designed spirit top like no other in the school – simply made by re-purposing a hand me down t-shirt and adapting a favorite pattern. The resulting new look is just awesome! Just like Jess’s new blog look, I hope my new look on school spirit wear is enjoyed.
Miranda from Inspinration: If you have a love for jersey it is just a matter of time until you sew up a woven dress pattern in jersey. This time the waiting period was simply very short, after sewing up the Star Anise last week, my hands itched to use the pattern again. For the blog tour I therefore combined the Star Anise skirt with the Petra bodice and sleeve and it became a killer combination.
Finally we have Lore from Blessed X Five with a delightful outfit for her little girl.
4 amazing looks and more to come tomorrow!
