School has only been out for a few weeks, but I’m already thinking back to school! My goal is to sew most of my daughters’ school wardrobe for next year. Both my girls now wear similar sizes, so hand me downs don’t work anymore, and my younger daughter was first on the ‘to do’ list.
The pants are a brand new pattern from one of my favourite indie designers: Jalie. The Eleonore pull on jeans feature back pockets and a faux fly with a pull on style waist, perfect for a 6 year old who has no use for buttons! I did a size up so that she’ll be able to wear them this fall and winter. The fabric is some gorgeous teal stretch denim I found locally at Marshall’s Fabrics.
The top is also Jalie, the raglan tee # 3245. I’ve used this pattern so many times, and this view is the tunic length.
The fabric is an adorable euro knit I bought from L’Oiseau Fabrics; both my girls went nuts when they saw this print! The sleeves are a cotton lycra I purchased locally.
A perfect back to school outfit, or for splashing in the puddles on a cool, rainy, summer day!
