I’m happy to share with you today a pattern by Fenna of FABulous Home Sewn. Not only is she a great sewist, she lives a few minutes from me and is a great friend!
Her latest pattern is the Pirate’s Treasure Wallet. This wallet is full of practical details: a full size bill fold, zippered change pocket, clear ID pocket, and card slots.
While I think she designed it with her son’s in mind, I thought it works perfect for a girl’s wallet too! I used some super soft Stenzo fine wale corduroy I got from L’Oiseau Fabrics. The lining is a thin quilting cotton.
The only change I made was to reverse the direction of the pockets. This was not a conscious design choice, but rather a consequence of sewing too late at night!
And she is generously hosting a giveaway as well!
