Eclair Blouse PDF Sewing Pattern 2T-12
The Eclair Blouse is a summer wardrobe staple and a great layering piece for cooler weather. Its defining feature is an exposed zipper at center front. The zipper is functional and includes a zipper guard to protect delicate skin. The hip length blouse includes side vents, a curved hem, and small cap sleeves. The sleeve, neckline, and bottom hem are finished with a bias tape facing.
This tutorial is rated as an intermediate sewing level due to the zipper and bias facing. However, a video tutorial takes you step by step through the zipper and zipper guard installation, and each step is accompanied by a detailed illustration, allowing beginner sewists to learn these new skills. I’ve also included information on how to create a muslin and do bias tape facings.
The pattern includes sizes 2T-12. Note that it is drafted for undeveloped figures.
The pattern includes printable pattern pieces. Computer drawn, printable pattern pieces are no-trim, and the pattern includes layers so that you can print only the size you need. See listing photographs for size chart and required materials.
