Like many people, I LOVE getting mail. There is nothing better than opening the mailbox and finding some squishy new fabric, or a shiny magazine. That is why I find the concept behind Stitch Box Monthly ‘sew’ much fun! Haha, couldn’t resist that one!
When you subscribe to Stitch Box Monthly, you will receive a box full of fabric, patterns, notions, and accessories right to your front door, every month! They ship to the USA, Canada, and Australia, and shipping is included in the monthly subscription price.
I was offered a box to review, and I’m excited to share what I received in the October box.
My Stitch Box Monthly arrived in a sturdy cardboard box; no chance of anything getting wet or squished. When I opened it up, I was happy to see a list and description of the contents, in case I wanted to learn more about the products.
The fabric that was included was two yards of coordinating Moda fabric. I was also really glad to see a spool of coordinating thread. This way I could begin my project right away without having to make a trip to the fabric store. Incldued was also 2 beautiful buttons that coordinated wonderfully with the fabric.
I used a little bit of the fabric to create these fun, super easy, coasters. Come back tomorrow for a full pattern and tutorial on my blog!
In addition to the fabric, there were several fun notions to try out.
The double sided tape is perfect for positioning zippers or bias tape, and I have already used the highlighter tape on my ruler and my coverstitch machine. It is easily removable and repositionable, so these 3 rolls should last you a long time!
FInally, the box inlcuded a voucher for the Caroline dress by Foo Foo Threads. It is super easy to download this pdf pattern; just type in the dropbox link that is printed on the card.
Overall, I think the Stitch Box Monthly is good value for your money, especially considering the boxes become less expensive the longer you subscribe for. It is a perfect Christmas or birthday gift for the sewer in your life! You can subscribe, or find more information on the Stitch Box Monthly website.
